Our Vaccine Philosophy

Our practice believes that all children should receive the recommended vaccines according to the guidelines provided by the AAP and the CDC. Vaccines are safe and effective in preventing diseases and health complications in children and young adults. Regular vaccinations help children ward off infections, and are administered as one of the safest and best methods of disease prevention.

If you choose to not vacccinate your child according to AAP/CDC guidelines we ask that you choose another physician to provide your child's pediatric care. The Children's Clinic believes that parents have a right to decline vaccines, but we do not accept that parents have the right to possibly expose other infants and children to vaccine preventable diseases at the Children's Clinic. The Children's Clinic will not provide pediatric care for children whose parents decline vaccinations for religious or philosophical reasons.

We are happy to discuss your concerns about vaccines at your child's next visit.
